Kevin Smith finds deep joy in serving with the team at White Oak, where every day is filled with purpose, community, and fun. His heart for ministry is grounded in sharing the hope of Jesus and creating meaningful connections.
• Family: Kevin and his wife Katie have been married for 22 years. They have four kids—Mackenzie and Olivia (in college), and Carter and Jack (in high school).
• Hobbies: He loves watching his kids play sports, trying new recipes in the kitchen with Katie, and cheering on the Golden State Warriors. Go Dubs!
• Fun Fact: Kevin co-hosts a fantasy football podcast—but it’s exclusively about his league. Full of stats, smack talk, and inside jokes, it’s his favorite kind of chaos.
• Favorite White Oak Memory: Easter celebrations and baptisms stand out as powerful moments—watching people take bold steps of faith and experience new life in Jesus.
• Favorite Scripture: 1 Peter 3:15 – “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” This verse shapes the way Kevin shares his faith and approaches ministry.
