Be A Whiz Kids Tutor!

Tuesdays, 3:15pm – 4:45pm (from 9/24 – 4/29)

Struble Elementary (2760 Jonrose Ave)

Register for Sept 10 Training (3:30pm at the Colerain Campus) You can still volunteer if you can’t make the training.

Right now starting the school year at Struble Elementary there is a student that would sign up for the Whiz Kids program, but is put on a waiting list because there aren’t enough tutors to match the demand of students and families looking for tutoring. Tutoring has the power to boost academic scores, create strong readers and improve confidence.

Whiz Kids is a tutoring program in partnership with City Gospel mission that is offered at no cost to participating children and their families and can provide life-changing tutoring and mentoring for a vulnerable child for just one hour a week of your time.

Each session of Whiz Kids tutoring consists of a snack time, Bible story, and tutoring (that’s where you come in!).

You also don’t need a PhD to tutor students, check out a sample of one of the lessons here: Sample.pdf

Register today for the Sept 10 Training to learn more about what it means to be a Whiz Kids tutor.
