Advent at Home

CHRISTMAS
EVE
at WHITE OAK

In the middle of a busy season, take this time to pause, to be present, and to rejoice in the gift of God with us.

This Christmas Eve, we invite you to slow down and experience the peace and hope that Jesus brings. Before the service begins, enjoy a warm cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate as you connect with family, friends, and others.

Our service will include Christmas songs, candle lighting, and a short message that helps us remember the good news of Jesus—light breaking through the darkness and rest for a weary world. Families will worship together, and candles or glow sticks will be available so that everyone can take part. (There will not be childcare for these services.)

We’re stretched thin, running from one thing to the next, trying to make Christmas feel like it used to. Yet beneath the noise and the pace, something inside us longs to slow down.

This Christmas at White Oak, we’re remembering that when God entered the world, He didn’t come rushing in. He came quietly, in a manger, in the middle of the night, inviting us to stop, rest, and find peace in Him.

A Weary World Rejoices is a journey into the rest that only Jesus can bring. In a season that can drain us, we’ll rediscover the unhurried rhythms of grace; where love, peace, joy, and hope aren’t just words on a card, but gifts waiting to be received.

If you’re tired, restless, or longing for something more this Christmas, come and see what happens when the world finally stops to make room for the Savior.

Nate's Toy Box

December 12-13 Colerain Campus (3675 Blue Rock Rd. 45247) Nate’s Toy Box provides toys, games, puzzles, blankets, hygiene products, books, comfort items, and prayer for families in the Northwest Local School District who are experiencing hardship. Families are identified by the district and SON Ministries as those most in need of assistance. This year’s distribution will be held on Saturday, December 13 , with set-up beginning Friday, December 12 . The event is designed

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse, provides gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need worldwide to demonstrate God's love and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Participants pack shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, which are then distributed through local churches to children who may have never received a gift before. How it Works 1. ADVENT at HOME

The world moves fast—
especially at Christmas.

But the story of Jesus invites us to slow down.

To stop striving.

To rest in the love of God
and notice what He’s doing around us.

Advent at Home is a simple, six-card guide
to help you and your family practice stillness and joy
in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Each kit includes:

A Welcome Card with an introduction
Four Advent Cards focused on Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love
A Christmas Day Card to complete the journey

Each card offers a short reading,
a simple activity,
and a prayer to help you pause
and pay attention to Jesus.

Pick up your Advent at Home Kit in the lobby at either campus. (One per household.)

May this become a simple rhythm for you and your family—
a way to bring the hope, peace, joy, and love of Jesus home this Christmas.
